Slow-Cooker Pork ‘n Beans


Make with HEINZ Tomato Ketchup

What You Need

  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 slices OSCAR MAYER Turkey Bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1⁄₂ lb. dried navy beans, soaked
  • 1 can (14.5 oz.) fat-free reduced-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 oz. OSCAR MAYER CARVING BOARD Slow Cooked Ham, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. maple-flavored or pancake syrup
  • 2 Tbsp. HEINZ Tomato Ketchup
  • 1 Tbsp. HEINZ Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 bay leaf


  1. HEAT oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add onions and bacon; cook 5 min. or until onions are crisp-tender, stirring frequently. Stir in garlic.
  2. ADD beans to slow cooker. Top with onion mixture and remaining ingredients; stir.
  3. COOK on LOW 10 hours (or on HIGH 5 hours). Discard bay leaf. Remove 1 cup beans; mash. Return to slow cooker; stir.
