Easy Meatloaf


Serve the Easy Meatloaf recipe with Chinet Classic White™ Plates and Napkins.

What You Need

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 lb. ground pork
  • 1/2 lb. ground veal
  • 1/2 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 tbsp. dried basil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 6 slices bacon


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine beef, pork, veal, celery, onion, bread crumbs, parsley, basil egg salt and pepper in a large mixing bowl until mixture just comes together. Do not over mix.
  3. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper and turn the meatloaf mixture onto the foil. Shape into a loaf and cover with the peppered bacon slices.
  4. Bake for approximately 90 minutes or until meatloaf reaches an internal temperature of 170 degrees.

So, my family does not like meatloaf...they really don't like dinner when I make it. Well, I made the east meatloaf and they did not even know it was was that yummy!
