CHIPS AHOY! Root Beer Floats

What You Need

  • 10 CHIPS AHOY! Team USA Limited Edition Cookies, divided
  • 2 cup vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 2 bottles (16.9 oz. each) root beer, chilled
  • 1 cup thawed frozen whipped topping
  • 8 maraschino cherries, patted dry


  1. CUT 4 cookies crosswise in half; reserve for later use.
  2. CHOP remaining cookies. Add to ice cream; mix well. Freeze 1 hour or until firm.
  3. SCOOP ice cream mixture into 16 small balls; place in single layer on parchment-covered baking sheet.
  4. PLACE 1 scoop ice cream mixture in each of 8 (6-oz.) glasses. Tilt each glass, then slowly pour 4 oz. root beer over ice cream. Top with whipped topping and remaining ice cream scoops.
  5. GARNISH with cherries and reserved cookie halves.
