Spring Salad with Cubed Ham


Fresh and crisp salad with delightful ham cubes

What You Need

  • Salad:
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups Spring Salad mix
  • 1 cup of cubed John Morrell Ham Cuts
  • 1 mild Cheddar cheese, cut in strips
  • 1 small green bell pepper, cut in strips
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, cut in strips
  • Red Wine Vinaigrette:
  • 1/3 cup salad oil
  • 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • dash pepper


  1. Cut onion slices in half; separate.
  2. Toss with Spring Salad mix, red and green pepper strips, cubed ham, and cheddar cheese strips.
  3. Combine vinaigrette ingredients and whisk well.
  4. Toss with salad in a serving bowl.

Perfect for a hot summer dinner....I don't like to cook in the summer, it makes my house so hot! So, this is perfect!
