Chopped Salad with Tortilla Chips and Avocado Dressing


This Chopped Salad with Tortilla Chips and Avocado Dressing is proof that Healthy Living recipes can be just as awesome as the traditional versions.

What You Need

  • 1 avocado, chopped, divided
  • 1/4 cup KRAFT Zesty Italian Dressing
  • 1 pkg. (10 oz.) torn salad greens
  • 3/4 cup KRAFT Mexican Style 2% Milk Finely Shredded Four Cheese
  • 1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tomatoes, cut into wedges
  • 3/4 cup tortilla chips, coarsely broken


  1. MASH half the avocado in small bowl. Add dressing; mix well.
  2. TOSS remaining avocado and next 4 ingredients in large bowl. Add dressing mixture; toss lightly.
  3. ADD chips; mix lightly. Serve immediately.

Add 2 cups chopped cooked chicken.

WOW...I made this for lunch and it was awesome! The taste is fantastic and the avocado dressing adds a ton of flavor.
