Bean, Pepper & Onion Dogs


Baked beans with bourbon brown sugar, sliced onion and green pepper are spooned into a foil packet and grilled to perfection. The result is a hot dog topper that's full of great flavor!

What You Need

  • 1 can (20.5 ounces) Campbell's® Chunky™ Baked Beans with Bourbon & Brown Sugar
  • 1 extra large onion, cut in half and sliced (about 2 cups)
  • 1 large green pepper, cut into thin strips (about 2 cups)
  • 2 (18-inch) squares heavy-duty aluminum foil
  • 8 cooked hot dogs
  • 8 Pepperidge Farm® Hot Dog Rolls - Top Sliced


  1. Heat the grill to medium. Stir the beans, onion and pepper in a large bowl.
  2. Spoon the bean mixture in the center of one (18-inch) foil square. Top with the remaining foil square and double-fold the edges to seal.
  3. Grill for 25 minutes or until the vegetables are tender, turning the foil packet over once halfway through the grilling time. Place the hot dogs in the buns. Top with the bean mixture.
