Zippy BBQ Meatballs


Make it with KRAFT Hickory Smoke Barbecue Sauce!

What You Need

  • 1 cup fresh bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 lb. extra-lean ground beef 
  • 1 lb. ground pork
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped 
  • 3 Tbsp. A.1. Dry Rub Bold Original
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons, chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 egg
  • 1 bottle (18 oz.) KRAFT Hickory Smoke Barbecue Sauce


  1. Heat oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix bread crumbs and milk in large bowl; let stand 5 min. Add all remaining ingredients except barbecue sauce; mix just until blended. Shape into 84 (1-inch) balls.
  3. PLACE on rimmed baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray.
  4. Bake  20 min. or until done (160ºF). Transfer to slow cooker. Add barbecue sauce; cover with lid. Cook on LOW 2 to 4 hours (or on HIGH 1 to 2 hours).
