Pure Leaf® Chicken Marinade

Summary

We don’t mess around with tea — and we certainly don’t mess around with chicken. Try this easy black tea marinade with Pure Leaf Unsweetened Iced Tea!

What You Need

  • 4 - 8 oz. Chicken Breasts
  • 2 cups Pure Leaf Unsweetened Tea
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp dried Basil
  • 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 2 tsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1 tsp Toasted Sesame Oil
  • 1/4 tsp ground Cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Let 4, 8-oz chicken breasts marinate in a mixture of 2 c Pure Leaf Unsweetened Iced Tea, 1⁄4 c soy sauce, 1 tbsp dried basil, 1 tbsp brown sugar, 2 tsp vegetable oil, 1 tsp toasted sesame oil, & 1⁄4 tsp ground cinnamon for 8 hours.
  2. Grill chicken over med-high heat for 10-12 minutes, turning evenly, until cooked through.
