Summary

Make with CLASSICO® RISERVA Marinara Sauce

What You Need

  • 1 Jar (24oz) CLASSICO┬« RISERVA Marinara Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 16 Fresh basil leaves
  • Pinch of crushed red pepper
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 pound cooked linguini

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onions and saute for 5-10 minutes or until translucent.
  2. Add CLASSICO® RISERVA Marinara Sauce to the skillet along with about a dozen basil leaves, coarsely chopped. Season with crushed red pepper to taste.
  3. Bring sauce to a low boil and then lower heat to simmer.
  4. Whisk in butter until melted.
  5. Serve on top of cooked pasta, and garnish with remaining basil leaves.
