Maple-Glazed Sweet Potatoes


Serve the Maple-Glazed Sweet Potatoes recipe in Chinet Classic White™ or Cut Crystal®.

What You Need

  • 5 lbs sweet potato—peeled
  • 1 cup butter—softened
  • 2 tablespoon butter—softened
  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts—toasted
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup


  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Peel and boil the sweet potatoes until soft. In a mixer with a paddle attachment, combine all the ingredients except for the walnuts and the second syrup to form a compound butter.
  3. In a mixer with a whip attachment, add the butter and sweet potatoes. Mix to resemble mashed potatoes. Place sweet potato mixture into an oven-safe pan and cover the top with toasted walnuts, drizzle with second syrup.
  4. Place in the oven for 4-5 minutes. Serve warm.
