Instructions

1. FOR NOTEBOOK:
2. SPRAY a 9×9 pan with a non-stick spray
3. MELT butter over low heat in a large saucepan and add in the marshmallows (or cream) and stir until melted
4. STIR in the cereal until fully coated
5. SPREAD the mixture in the 9x9 pan and flatten surface
6. PLACE in fridge for at least 1 hour to set
7. CUT into 6 bars for your “notebooks”
8. DECORATE your notebook by spreading a thin layer of white frosting over the “notebook” and then line the left side with 3 chocolate chips for the holes and squeeze the black frosting tube to make the lines
9. FOR PENCIL:
10. GATHER a second set of Rice Krispies Treats ingredients
11. SPRAY a 9×9 pan with a non-stick spray
12. MELT butter over low heat in a large saucepan and add in the marshmallows (or cream) and stir until melted
13. STIR in the cereal until fully coated
14. SPREAD the mixture in the 9x9 pan and flatten surface
15. PLACE in fridge for at least 1 hour to set
16. CUT into 12 thin rectangles to resemble your “pencils”
17. DECORATE your pencils with the black frosting for the “lead” tip and the red frosting for the eraser - or get creative and let your little ones design their favorite pencil!
