Jalapeno Poppers

What You Need

  • 20 Fresh jalapenos, 2 to 3 inches in size
  • Two 8-ounce packages of cream cheese, slightly softened
  • 1 pound of thin bacon, slices cut in half
  • Toothpicks
  • Optional: Latex gloves for handling peppers

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 275 degrees F.
  2. Then, start by cutting the jalapenos in half lengthwise. With a spoon, remove the seeds and core of the peppers.
  3. Smear cream cheese into each jalapeno half and then wrap with a bacon slice.
  4. Secure by sticking a toothpick through the middle and place on the baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the bacon is fully cooked and sizzling.
  6. Serve immediately on Chinet® Classic White™ square plates.
