A traditional hummus recipe with garbanzo beans, tahini, lemon juice and olive oil, spiced with garlic, pepper and salt.

What You Need

  • 1 can (15 oz.) garbanzo beans
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • KeeblerĀ® Town HouseĀ® Pita Crackers Mediterranean Herb
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper


  1. DRAIN beans, reserving liquid. In food processor or blender combine beans, tahini, lemon juice, oil, garlic, pepper, salt and 2 tablespoons of reserved bean liquid. Cover and blend until smooth.
  2. REFRIGERATE at least 3 hours to blend flavors. Garnish as desired. Serve with crackers.
