Campbell's Layered Dip

Summary

Great for game day or any day, this Southwestern-style, layered dip is a real crowd favorite. Better make plenty...it will be gone before you know it!

What You Need

  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 package (about 1 ounce) taco seasoning mix
  • 1 can (about 16 ounces) refried beans
  • 1 jar (16 ounces) Pace® Chunky Salsa
  • 1/4 cup shredded Cheddar Jack cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded romaine lettuce
  • 1/4 cup sliced pitted black olives (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes (optional)
  • 2 bags (about 20 ounces each) tortilla chips

Instructions

  1. Stir the cream cheese and taco seasoning in a small bowl until the mixture is smooth.
  2. Spread the cream cheese mixture on the bottom of a shallow serving dish.
  3. Spread the beans over the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Top with the salsa, cheese and lettuce.
  5. Top with the olives and tomatoes, if desired.
  6. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  7. Serve with the tortilla chips for dipping.

I made this for a starter with our Taco Tuesday this week and it was awesome. My husband even put this on a tortilla and rolled it up....he said it was awesome!
